SUSTAINABLE CYCLES

GOING GREEN IS A CALLING

Sustainability is a strategic value that guides our choices and decision-making. We have developed value cycles with our suppliers and those who supply them, making sure that we are all sharing the same social and environmental values and ideals.

  • SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION CYCLES

    Being Green is Crucial

All raw materials and processes are taken care of in a material flow management system so that unsustainable practices do not enter the production cycle. We insist on global monitoring of all external and internal points involved in the manufacture of fabrics we use.

A clean, environmentally healthy manufacturing process, using resources efficiently and the full potential of sustainability is a decisive factor for our final product.

All the products are manufactured with the same standards of sustainability and follow strict quality controls.

  • WATER AND ENERGY

    Commitment to the Future

The reduction of water consumption, combined with the treatment of effluents and waste, are important factors to consider in the sustainable textile manufacturing process, since they have a direct impact on the environment.

The quality of the treated effluent is one of the main achievements of our suppliers due to the careful analysis of raw materials, combined with optimized processes and high levels of controls, all the while complying with strict international requirements.

The entire production process uses electricity from a clean and renewable source, with the aim of obtaining an environmentally sustainable energy matrix.

  • THREADS AND RAW MATERIALS

Sourcing from the best global suppliers who share the same social and environmental values.

We insist that suppliers use only chemical products that do not contain heavy metals, that comply with the OEKO-TEX® 100 certification and comply with the RSL – list of restricted substances, following American and European standards.

Our suppliers only use the best dyes, more concentrated, with fixing rates higher than 80% absorption which provides a superior product quality, with better strength indices and less fabric shrinkage.

  • TEXTILE WASTE

A focus on the entire product production cycle.

All textile waste residues are transformed into organic fertilizer, registered with the Ministry of Agriculture.

Production waste (fabric ends, leftovers, cardboard, paper, plastic and scrap metal) are transformed into secondary and higher-value products.

All waste contaminated with chemical products are used for co-processing, where they are added to mixtures, used as fuel in cement plants, eliminating or mitigating all environmental liabilities.

FAIR WORK & CULTURE OF SOCAL RESPONSIBILITY

All our suppliers and those who supply them comply with the FLA – Fair Labor Association code of conduct in the workplace and are based on the standards of the ILO – International Labor Organization (ILO).Additionally, our suppliers are required to comply with programs to support all their workers in professional improvement, medical assistance, prevention campaigns, vaccination campaigns, medical, gynecological, pediatric and nursing care. Systematic social service for employees, and special projects for integration, monitoring and assistance for people with intellectual disabilities and integration with their families are also included.
